Pink Hibiscus

It’s been awhile since we did the flower thing here on this blog. So, today’s Hawaii Picture of the Day is a nice Pink Hibiscus.

I’m embarrassed to say that I forgot some of my elementary school lessons (I went to Hawaii schools from 2nd-7th grades), because I didn’t realize until after I’d decided to do this post that the Pink Hibiscus is actually the Hawaii state flower.

Pretty cool … I’ve got the Hawaii state flower just out my back door.
