I just want to give some quick props to Courtney Tuttle. Keyword Sniping works!

It’s been about a month now since I set up a wordpress blog on a domain name that I won in a contest . Since I’d been reading Court’s blog, I decided to use his Keyword Sniper 1.0 wordpress theme to develop the site on.

I set up the site, wrote a couple of articles (4 or 5 so far). I did a lot of interlinking, commented a bit around the net, and bookmarked to some social networking sites. I’ll be honest, I’m still not sure exactly what I’m doing, but something must be going right. The only review I’ve done so far is about Tiger Woods 08, with one short follow-up article. I’m currently ranking for between 100-200 related long-tail terms (depending on which stats program I look at), and getting 20-40 search engine visitors (and a couple of ad clicks) a day.

I like the screenshot above. I know it’s a long-tail term, but it did make me smile to be ranked above GameSpot and Amazon. :)

I’m not a big time gamer. That Tiger Woods games is about the only thing that draws me to the Wii. But looking at these results, I’m definitely encouraged to start writing more articles for that site. I’ve also set up a BANS store (still needs work) to try to try to do some more interlinking for related terms about Wii Accessories.

I’ll tell you, sometimes blogging can be frustrating … but it sure is fun when it actually work!

Keep havin FuN!
Todd
