13 lists you’ll want to bookmark

By todd • on November 26, 2007

As I’ve been learning about blogging over the past couple of months, I’ve noticed that a lot of sites use lists to attract links and traffic. So, I thought I’d make a list of my own … but with a twist. My list will be 13 of the most useful and/or interesting lists I’ve read in past couple of months.

I hope you find these lists as helpful as I did …

This should keep you reading for a while.

Till next time …
Todd

p.s. As far as the screen captures of the blog headers, I took a better to ask forgiveness than permission tact. If anybody would like me to remove their header, just pop me a note, and it’ll be gone.

Greetings ~

Thank you for including me in your list!

I have not seen some of these posts before and really look forward to reading them.

All the best,
Mark

Thanks, there are actually two of the links in there completely new to me and I can really use them at this moment. ;)

@Mark
@Niclole

You’re welcome … glad you found the post useful. It’s funny, since I’ve started blogging, it seems like I do about 10 times as much reading as writing. So, until my writing improves, posts like this probably provide a bit more quality to those of you who happen to find my blog. :-)

Thanks for the link Todd! Especially because I made the top spot over DoshDosh! :D

@Mohsin … you’re very welcome, I always find good stuff when I read your blog.

@Sucker … lol, these were posted in no particular order. That being said, if you want to tell people you beat out DoshDosh, who am I to take that away from you ;-)

lists do seem to get readers, not sure why. maybe people like to compare what they think…who knows.
my 10 reasons not to use Firefox was pretty popular a while back.

I think the reason people like lists, is mainly to do with scanability … it’s much easier to tell quickly whether it’s worth reading, than with a long article type post.

As for your link … I like FireFox personally. Thankfully, IE isn’t even an option for me any more … since my wife bought me a Mac.
